After more than 20 years of practicing Pilates while building a career at MTV, NBC Universal, Paramount, and Us Weekly, Susan Natoli decided to take her passion to the next level and pursue a comprehensive teaching certification through Polestar, a global leader in Pilates education.

Susan has taught in multiple Pilates studios in New York City, including Nice & Tall, the original studio owned by Joseph and Clara Pilates.

Pilates has been a constant source of strength, balance, and inspiration throughout her professional journey, and she loves how it transforms not just the body but the way we move through everyday life.

Her goal as an instructor is straightforward: to help others discover the same joy and benefits that drew her to the practice, and to make Pilates
accessible, empowering, and transformative for everyone who walks into the studio.

Our Mission

Most people struggle with workouts that leave them burned out, injured, or simply uninspired—and generic gyms or trendy fitness classes don’t solve the problem. They focus on repetition and sweat, not sustainable movement or long-term strength.

At Align & Define Pilates, our mission is to create lasting strength through intentional movement. We believe small, precise changes in how you move can unlock powerful results—improving posture, protecting joints, and building a body that feels stable, mobile, and strong.

Through personalized, tailored sessions, we meet every client where they are—whether recovering from injury, building core strength, or simply seeking to move and feel better in daily life. Our goal is for every client to leave feeling more balanced, connected, and in control of their body.
